On December 6, 2018, VE firm Global Warming from Bearden High School in Knoxville, Tennessee, recently featured by 23 ABC News for collecting and donating socks to homeless shelters, was profiled by Knox News on the strength of the company’s first place finish in the Tennessee State Business Plan Competition at the 2018 Southern Regional Conference and Exhibition, marking Bearden’s sixth state championship in eight years.
