Startup companies and continuing businesses may be presented. The top teams from this competition will earn a spot to compete in the Long Island Business Plan Championship Round in February. \nBest Booth & Sales Pitch Competition – The VE Trade Exhibition welcomes firms from around NY State to showcase their student-run businesses and demonstrate their skills by promoting and selling their products and services to guest shoppers. Guided by a VE Promotional Week Bingo Card\, students will complete a series of tasks that simulate real-world business operations. \nActivities include registering for the Online Trade Show\, completing trainings on trade show etiquette and the sales process\, setting up e-commerce websites\, running pre-sales\, and managing digital marketing through email and social media competitions. Additional highlights include the Banner Ad Competition\, a T-Shirt Design Competition\, with the winning design featured and sold at the Southern Region Competition & Exhibition and the SR Online Trade Show\, where firms will present their products live\, analyze competitors\, and explore emerging trends in the VE economy. \nJudge Needs: \nWe are currently seeking guest shoppers to join us for the Online Trade Show on December 4th\, where students will engage in live Zoom sales sessions. We are also in need of asynchronous judges to evaluate student submissions for various competitions between December 15 and January 9 on the VE Competition Manager.
