DESCRIPTION:The Midwest Region Winter Conference & Exhibition will be held at Donald E. Stephens Convention Center\, Rosemont\, IL on Wednesday\, February 5. Join us for various competitions\, trade show\, and networking opportunity. \nThe online submissions competitions happen before the event and the winners will be announced on February 5th \nJudging Period: January 18 – 31\,2026 \nFor this competition you will be judging submissions on our VE Competitions Manager.  \nPlease register below to be a judge for the following online submission based competitions: \n\nSales Material:  Firms create sales materials and upload one of the following: catalog\, brochure\, direct mail campaign\, and/or promotional materials. The materials are evaluated on content\, design\, salesmanship\, and professionalism.\nEmail Campaign: Firms create an email campaign providing information about the campaign\, target market\, and several email examples to demonstrate ability to encourage a customer to take the next step with the company.\nVideo Commercial: Each firm must record a 30-to 60-second video commercial promoting the business and/or product(s)/services(s) to attract potential customers.\nBanner Ad:  Each firm is asked to create a 728×90 pixel Banner Ad (sometimes called a “leaderboard”) to spark interest in the firm and attract traffic to a website by linking to the website of the advertiser.

Judging focuses on branding elements\, consistency\, and relevance to the business.\nSales Material: Review of sales collateral such as catalogs\, brochures\, direct mail campaigns\, or promotional materials\, assessed on content\, design\, salesmanship\, and professionalism.\nNewsletter: Firms create a two-page (front and back) newsletter targeted to employees\, featuring company news\, economic insights\, product information\, and employee highlights.\nWebsite: Evaluation of the functionality and design of each firm’s website\, assessing usability and aesthetic appeal.
