DESCRIPTION:The New York State Regional Business Plan Competition and Trade Show is a two day event at LIU Post that brings together firms from all over Long Island and NY state to compete in the first round of the National Business Plan Competition as well as participate in a trade show to demonstrate their business skills learned through the VE program. Startup companies and continuing businesses may be presented. The top teams from this competition will earn a spot to compete in the Long Island Business Plan Championship Round in February. \nBest Booth & Sales Pitch Competition – The VE Trade Exhibition welcomes firms from around NY State to showcase their student-run businesses and demonstrate their skills by promoting and selling their products and services to guest shoppers. Additional highlights include the Banner Ad Competition\, a T-Shirt Design Competition\, with the winning design featured and sold at the Southern Region Competition & Exhibition and the SR Online Trade Show\, where firms will present their products live\, analyze competitors\, and explore emerging trends in the VE economy. \nJudge Needs: \nWe are currently seeking guest shoppers to join us for the Online Trade Show on December 4th\, where students will engage in live Zoom sales sessions. We are also in need of asynchronous judges to evaluate student submissions for various competitions between December 15 and January 9 on the VE Competition Manager. DESCRIPTION:The 2025 Central NJ Business Plan Competition & Exhibition challenges NJ teams to showcase their global business expertise through written submissions and oral presentations\, competing to qualify for the National Business Plan Competition at the Youth Business Summit in April. \nTeams of 3-6 students will have 10 minutes to present their business plan\, followed by 5 minutes of Q&A with the judges.\nDuring this event students also have the opportunity to participate in a trade show to present their sales skills and compete in competitions such as booth design and sales pitch.

SUMMARY:NYS-VE Regional Business Plan Competition and Trade Show
DESCRIPTION:The New York State Regional Business Plan Competition and Trade Show is a two day event at LIU Post that brings together firms from all over Long Island and NY state to compete in the first round of the National Business Plan Competition as well as participate in a trade show to demonstrate their business skills learned through the VE program. The event is broken down into the two following events: \nBusiness Plan Competition – The National Business Plan Competition challenges students to demonstrate their business expertise through written submissions and oral presentations of their company’s complete business plan. Startup companies and continuing businesses may be presented. The top teams from this competition will earn a spot to compete in the Long Island Business Plan Championship Round in February. \nBest Booth & Sales Pitch Competition – The VE Trade Exhibition welcomes firms from around NY State to showcase their student-run businesses and demonstrate their skills by promoting and selling their products and services to guest shoppers. Volunteers will rate Sales Pitch And Booth Design participating as guest shoppers and interacting with students on the trade show floor.
