MI Midwest Business Plan Competition – MI State Final Round
February 10, 2026 @ 8:00 am - 1:30 pm
Please note:Â This judging commitment includes both pre-work in the VE Online Competition Manager as well as participation in the live, in-person Finals.
Competition Timeline – Michigan State Finals
January 25 – February 2, 2026
Judges will use the VE Online Competition Manager to review and score 4-page Executive Summary documents for all state finalist teams. Scores should follow the official competition scoring guide.
Tuesday, February 10, 2026
The Top 6 teams from Round 1 will present live during the State Finals at a TBD location. Judges will be assigned all 6 finalist firms to evaluate. Each judge will:
- Attend the judges’ meeting (time TBD).
- View each team’s oral presentation.
- Participate in a Q&A session with the students.
- Enter scores for the Oral Presentation (60%) and Q&A Session (20%) in theVE Competition Manager, which will be combined with their Executive Summary (20%) scores to generate overall results.
