MI – Midwest Region Fall Conference & Exhibition – Online Competitions
November 23 @ 8:00 am - December 2 @ 1:30 pm
We invite experienced and enthusiastic judges to participate in the evaluation of student submissions ahead of the Illinois Midwest Conference & Exhibition on November 14th. Students participating in the conference have submitted work across multiple competition categories, and your expertise will help recognize their efforts and achievements.
Judging Timeline:Â
Judges will receive login credentials and detailed instructions by November 23 to access the VE Online Competition Manager platform. Using the provided rubric, judges will review submissions and complete scoring by December 2.
Competition Categories:
Company Branding: Evaluation of student firms’ branding guidelines, including logos, color schemes, and usage examples. Judging focuses on branding elements, consistency, and relevance to the business.
Sales Material:Â Review of sales collateral such as catalogs, brochures, direct mail campaigns, or promotional materials, assessed on content, design, salesmanship, and professionalism.
Newsletter:Â Firms create a two-page (front and back) newsletter targeted to employees, featuring company news, economic insights, product information, and employee highlights.
Website: Evaluation of the functionality and design of each firm’s website, assessing usability and aesthetic appeal.
