Due to school closings across the country and the impact of COVID-19, we have been working to “reimagine” the 2020 Youth Business Summit and convert it into a meaningful online experience for the VE community. From April 13 to May 15, students will have the opportunity to participate in Digital Meet & Greets with business partners, and the International Online Trade Show with domestic and international firms in VE.
Not a student? Make an impact on students across the country by becoming a virtual volunteer. Volunteer opportunities include “purchasing” products and services from VE firms and hosting brief mentoring sessions via video chat.
Using video conferencing tools, VE firms and online learning classes will have the opportunity to participate in online conversations with VE business partners and mentors. These Digital Meet & Greets will be scheduled based on your school and class meeting times online and will be scheduled as 30-minute meetings from April 13 to May 15 as needed and/or available.
Join us on Wednesday and Thursday, April 22 and 23, for two days of intensive online trading. Using video conferencing tools, firms will connect with other firms and industry professionals to buy and sell their products and services.
The winners have been announced!
The National Business Plan Competition will now be celebration-based and online only. Options for participation have been sent to impacted firms and include receiving feedback on written business plans as well as the opportunity for online Q&A sessions and discussions with business professionals.
