2020 Youth Business Summit:
Reimagined

April 21 - 23, 2020 | Online | Sponsored by HSBC

Events

Due to school closings across the country and the impact of COVID-19, we have been working to “reimagine” the 2020 Youth Business Summit and convert it into a meaningful online experience for the VE community. From April 13 to May 15, students will have the opportunity to participate in Digital Meet & Greets with business partners, and the International Online Trade Show with domestic and international firms in VE.

Not a student? Make an impact on students across the country by becoming a virtual volunteer. Volunteer opportunities include “purchasing” products and services from VE firms and hosting brief mentoring sessions via video chat.

Digital Meet & Greets

Using video conferencing tools, VE firms and online learning classes will have the opportunity to participate in online conversations with VE business partners and mentors. These Digital Meet & Greets will be scheduled based on your school and class meeting times online and will be scheduled as 30-minute meetings from April 13 to May 15 as needed and/or available.

International Online Trade Show

Join us on Wednesday and Thursday, April 22 and 23, for two days of intensive online trading. Using video conferencing tools, firms will connect with other firms and industry professionals to buy and sell their products and services.

A huge thank you to all the students, teachers, administrators, parents, partners and volunteers for helping us reimagine the Youth Business Summit and creating an unforgettable International Online Trade Show these past two days. Take a look at the event recap!

Future Ready

VE prepares students for the future of work.
The future of work is here.

The coronavirus outbreak is causing organizations around the world to shift operations to remote, virtual settings in an unprecedented way. Schools are closing, companies are restricting non-essential travel, and events are moving to online-only environments. We are witnessing a major test of the future of work play out in real time. Because VE’s mission is to prepare students for the future of work, we’re using this as an opportunity to transform our signature Youth Business Summit event into the Youth Business Summit: Reimagined.
