On December 9, 2025, Virtual Enterprises proudly partnered with Apollo to host our Second Annual Apollo Leadership Day, an immersive and inspiring experience that brought the world of finance to life for VE students.
Led by Jessica Sheahon, Director of Apollo Global Management, a dedicated team of Apollo professionals donated their time, talent, and energy to engage students in a full day of hands-on learning, mentorship, and career exploration. The event reflected Apollo’s deep commitment to education, leadership development, and preparing young people for the future of work.
Throughout the day, 31 Apollo employees collectively donated more than 42 volunteer hours, guiding students through a dynamic program that included a career panel, small-group mentorship breakouts, the STAX investment game, and an interactive AI workshop. In every session, Apollo volunteers created a welcoming environment that encouraged students to ask questions, think critically, and envision themselves in finance-related careers.
What stood out most was the genuine connection between Apollo volunteers and VE students. Time and again, volunteers shared how impressed they were by the students’ thoughtfulness, confidence, and enthusiasm. Students, in turn, leaned in, asking insightful questions, engaging deeply with the material, and embracing the opportunity to learn directly from industry professionals.
Jessica’s leadership was instrumental in shaping a day that was both impactful and energizing. Her vision, along with the commitment of the Apollo team, ensured that the experience went beyond information-sharing; it became a moment of inspiration, confidence-building, and possibility for every student involved.
