Long Island University published an article on January 14 detailing the recent Long Island Regional Conference and Exhibition, which took place on January 9, 2019. Thousands of students participated, and some were interviewed about their virtual businesses, including Huntington High School student John Panos of VE firm Poppy, who stated:
“I’m biased because I think [our company] is so capable of becoming a real business. I am really hoping that as a team we can all get to a point where we have the full capability of physically putting this in the real world.”
