VE was featured in Euromoney’s online publication on April 23, 2019, after its sustainable finance editor, Helen Avery, participated as a judge in VE’s Social Venture Challenge, which took place at VE’s Gala on April 17, 2019.
Other judges included notable names Jeff Raider, cofounder of both Harry’s and Warby Parker; Robert W. Hawley, Jr., CEO of CIB Americas and head of global markets, Americas; and Jay Williams, ESPN host and former NBA Star.
Judges chose the students from VE firm Phoenix Wood as the winners of the Social Venture Challenge, for which they will be receiving $10,000 from BNP Paribas to make their business idea a reality!
