On Monday, April 27, the Virtual Enterprises community will gather at the iconic Plaza Hotel in Manhattan to celebrate 30 Years of Impact, and honor the educators and partners who have helped transform classrooms into real-world businesses.
This year’s gala will recognize Moses Ojeda, an outstanding New York City principal and champion of program innovation. Principal Ojeda will receive the Noel N. Kriftcher Service to Education Award for his leadership and support of VE’s The Business Of… pilot, which extends VE’s proven model into Career & Technical Education (CTE) programs, equipping students not only with technical skills, but also the business, entrepreneurship, and freelancing tools needed to monetize their craft and create real economic opportunity.
Adding to the excitement, John “JJ” Jastremski, veteran New York sports talk host and broadcaster, will serve as this year’s emcee, bringing energy, warmth, and momentum to what we know will be an unforgettable evening.
Guests will enjoy a cocktail reception, silent auction, elegant dinner, and dessert celebration, while meeting 30 VE alumni, each representing a year of VE’s history. A few alumni will share their stories, offering a glimpse into the impact of VE’s program, which has reached more than 350,000 students nationwide who have gone on to become business leaders, entrepreneurs, and changemakers.
Help us empower the next generation of business leaders while celebrating 30 years of innovation and student success. We hope you will join us.
