Midwest Business Plan & Business Overview Competition

Competition Timeline
December 17 – January 16
Volunteers will use the VE Online Competition Manager to review and score 4-page Executive Summary documents submitted by each regional business plan competitor, following the official competition scoring guide.
January 20, 21, & 22, 2026
Judges will participate in a live Zoom session during one of the scheduled time slots to view student presentations and score them using the provided rubric.
During the live sessions, judges will be assigned a group of VE firms. Each judge will:
- Join a video conference with their assigned firms.
- View each team’s oral business plan presentation.
- Engage in a Q&A session with the students.
- Submit scores through the VE Online Competition Manager.
